The village of Sisters Beach is in a unique situation being surrounded on the east, south and west by the magnificent Rocky Cape National Park, and on the north by Bass Strait. Residents and visitors come here to enjoy the relaxed peaceful lifestyle, the unspoiled beaches, clear unpolluted waters, stunning coastal scenery, and secluded bush land.
There are many interesting walks that can be taken to explore the area. It is a great place to see native birds, animals and plants in their natural setting. This is the only area in Tasmania where Banksia serrata grows naturally, and groves of these magnificent trees can be seen in the National Park. There are several caves in the area, some of which were used by the Tasmanian Aboriginals.
Visitors can view maps illustrating the layout of the area as well as information on FACILITIES, activities and ACCOMMODATION available in Sisters Beach. The website also provides residents with news and a Community Hub where information and local events and information can be posted.

Sandals is absolutely stunning, and I for one will be booking it to take my family for a couple of lazy days by the beach sometime very soon! If you want somewhere to get away from it, or if you are a Bride getting married at Sandridge Estate, or anywhere else on the NW coast, I recommend making Sandals your base. It is a photographers dream to capture bridal preparation!!!!
What a great beach house in a beautiful part of Tasmania. The house had everything we needed plus some, and with the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, lovely garden, great views, peaceful setting, and last but not least easy access to the National Park walks and beach it was just the 'retreat' we were looking for. I highly recommend Sisters Beach Retreat. 18th March 2013
Absolutely magnificent location! Kids had the whole downstairs to themselves, loved the toys that were there to play with. Cosy wood fire. Hope to come back one day. Superb beaches. July 2013
